What happened?
The first Fuji Rock Festival was held on Mount Fuji at the Fuji Tenjin-yama Ski Resort. Half way through the Red Hot Chili Peppers headline performance the whole festival had to be cancelled due to a typhoon, but that first day won't be forgotten by anyone in 30,000 crowd.
It is now a legendary day in Japanese music history.
